Gunman Opens Fire on Group of Bicycle Riders

According to reports four bicyclists were injured, with one being listed in critical condition after the group they were riding with drew gun fire.

According to police the group of bicyclists in South Los Angeles was shot at on Thursday night at appoximately11:15 p.m. in the area of Vernon and Long Beach Avenue.
Authorities have not ruled out that there is the possibility that the shooting injuring four of the bicyclists could have been gang related.

Four of the bicyclists were transported to the hospital, with one rider being listed in critical condition and the other three riders are expected to recover.

The bicyclists ranged in age between 18 and their early 20s, according to police. Police are still investigating the bicycle shooting and attempting to determine who the shooter was that injured the bicyclists.
