Injured Huntington Beach Teen Bicyclist Still in Serious Condition
July 6, 2010-According to reports a teen bicyclist struck by a vehicle Thursday is still in serious condition. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, this Huntington Beach bicycle accident involved a 13 year old bicyclist that was involved in a crash Thursday remains in serious condition Tuesday.
Huntington Beach Police Department Lt. Russell Reinhart stated the teen boy is recovering according to his parents, but still in serious condition. The bicyclist according to Lt. Reinhart was involved in a crash in the vicinity of Lake Street and Adams Avenue at approximately 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
The crash occurred at the intersection when the bicyclists was crossing the street and road in front of a car on a green light. According to Lt. Reinhart the teen was wearing a skateboarding helmet at the time of the crash.
