Bicyclists Struck—Driver Leaves Injured Rider

According to reports by bicycle injury lawyers, a bicyclist was injured in the vicinity of Lemon Street and Orangethorpe Avenue in Anaheim.
The rider of the bicycle according to authorities was struck by a vehicle that left the scene of the accident and the rider lying in the road after 7:00 a.m. Witnesses stated that the vehicle fled while the rider was injured and lying in the road.

Fire fighters and Fullerton Paramedics were called to the scene at approximately 7:34 a.m. according to a MetroNet dispatcher. The bicyclist was transported to the hospital, but the extent of injuries have not been released nor the riders identity.

There has not been any information released about the suspected type of vehicle that was involved in the accident that fled the scene after hitting the rider.
